Jun 06, 2013 My lg lcd tv recently stopped allowing me to access tv channels. I tried auto tuning and manual tuning and even bought a digital antenna to see if that helps but nothing has worked. Ive searched through all of my menu options and still it wont pick up any channels. There could be several reasons why your auto scan is not finding channels. To start, let’s make sure that you are selecting the right input mode on your television set. Typically, this will be found under your Menu – Channels – Auto Scan. Of course not all television set manufacture menus are the same. I am not able to see my TV channels from the antenna that I used to see before having to do a factory reset using the option under settings. What I get is 'Unable to obtain provider lineups' after entering the zip code for the antenna service. All options that used to be available such as auto tune, manual tuning, editing channels etc are disabled.
