Studio All In One Entertainment System With Auto Tune

Singing Machine Studio All-In-One Entertainment System (SDL2093). The real star of the show is the Studio’s sound and Auto Tune function. For starters, the Studio has a strong & clear sound that outshines any karaoke machine I’ve owned. I own a couple of large portable speakers as well, and the Studio is on par with any of them from an.

Hi guys,
First time poster here. I've been using studio one for home demo projects for about 6 months now and I'm getting close to really understanding it. I am, however, having a bit of trouble figuring out how to get the tuner to register the guitar signal. I'm using a Audiobox USB with Studio One 2 Producer. The guitar signal is there, it records fine, I just can't get the tuner to register a signal. I'm basically just dragging the 440 tuner from the browser on to the guitar track, then playing the guitar, which has been armed for recording. Nothing. No signal. Am I missing a step? How do I get the guitar signal to the tuner?
Thanks much!

Um yeah, I'm pretty sure; I toggled the power on and off as a first step in my troubleshooting process. No help.

Not only does the tuner have to be turned on but the 'monitor' button has to be enabled as well. It is the button right next to the red 'record' button on each track. Each track the tuner is on will only work if it is being monitored.
Hopefully that helps!

Thanks scubasteve, that did it! I could've sworn I had monitoring enabled when I was originally running into problems, but I guess I didn't. Worked like a charm today.

Also make sure it's the first insert in the rack. Don't put it after a compressor or anything like that.

Yes, what muzic said. Having effects on the signal will more than likely be picked up by the tuner so you will not have an accurate tuner if there are echos/reverb/compression/etc.
Let us know if you have any more troubles!
Cheers
